                                    Journal Entry #2 My experience all throughout school helped shape me to become a teacher by showing me that the teachers that were a light to me I could do for other students. Students of my own, I want to be able to encourage, love, care, teach, and support all of my students the way my teachers were to me. School was a safe spot for me, a chance to be with my friends, learn, and to feel seen by people who genuinely care. I was the child who got excited for summer to be over and sad for snow days. I loved going to school and seeing my friends and teachers it was a highlight for most of my elementary years.
